4 Days in Yellowstone

My mom gave us the most fun Christmas present! She gave us 2 nights in the Mammoth Springs Hotel in Yellowstone National Park. We loved it! We really did see some bears! 3 grizzlies from far away and this black bear close up.

The buffalo were huge and snorting, these crossed right in front of our car.

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone looks like a post card.

We drove through Lamar Valley every evening at sunset, it was a magical place. This evening it rained and we got to see a rainbow too.

The elk were grazing while we fished.

There is another valley that is gorgeous too, called Hayden Valley.

The Yellowstone River is so beautiful, and a fisherman's paradise. Chuck and me in front of Yellowstone Falls.
